What do you apply for with this form?
You use this form to apply for the issue of a maritime certificate and its associated merchant certificates.
Is the vessel registered abroad? The vessel can be registered in the Bareboat Charter Register so it can temporarily sail under the Dutch flag, on a charter basis. The following conditions apply:
- The vessel is registered in another country;
- There is a lease agreement between the bareboat broker (lessor) and the bareboat charterer (lessee);
- There is proof of permission from the underlying flag state for the vessel to temporarily fly another flag.

For owners of commercial vessels, whose vessel is registered abroad.
What is the cost of this application?
There are costs associated with this application. Please refer to the Regeling tarieven transportsectoren (Transportation Sectors Tariffs Scheme, only available in Dutch).
