What do you apply for with this form?
You can use this form to:
- apply for a first registration of a recreational craft of 24 metres or over, or
- submit modifications to a recreational craft of any length.
Please note: if you are the owner of a pleasure craft under 24 metres in length that is not yet registred with the Kadaster (Land Registry Office), you must register your boat with the Kadaster. You can do so by using the form

Who is this form for?
For natural persons and legal entities in the Netherlands or abroad who wish to register a recreational craft under the Dutch flag.
Is there a fee for this application?
The processing of this application is subject to a fee. You can find the fee for this application in the Regeling tarieven transportsectoren (Transportation Sectors Tariffs Scheme, only available in Dutch).

How does your application work?
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive an automatic receipt notification. Has your application form been submitted in full, including all the appropriate attachments? Then the ILT will process the application. You will be notified about this. When processing your application, the ILT adheres to the statutory decision periods.
Please note: The ILT does not process incomplete or incorrectly completed forms. This also applies if you fail to send the requested attachments. You will then receive a request to submit the additional information within a certain period of time.
