What do you apply for with this form?
With this form, you can apply for an approval to certify or inspect means of containment. Or to classify hazardous goods. You can also use this form to apply for an amendment to or replacement of an existing approval. You can find the conditions for this approval in the Regulation on recognised bodies for the transport of dangerous goods.
For whom is this form intended?
For companies that wish to apply for approval to perform one or more operations under the Regulation on the transport of dangerous goods. This transport is by road, water, and rail (ADR, ADN, RID, and IMSBC code). You can also use this form to extend or replace the current approval.
What is the cost of this application?
This application is subject to a fee. You can find the current fee in the Regeling tarieven transportsectoren (Transportation Sectors Tariffs Scheme, only in Dutch) – (Afdeling 5.2. Vervoer gevaarlijke stoffen, artikel 5.4).
Which enclosures are needed?
- Extracts from the Dutch Chamber of Commerce’s trade register and from abroad (if applicable).
- Organisation chart of the applicant’s organisational structure.
- Copy of an insurance policy in the name of the applicant company, covering the damage arising from statutory liability in the Netherlands.
- If applicable: The agreement(s) with the company or companies in case of subcontracting or outsourcing.
- If applicable: The procedure for assessing the competence of the firm(s) to subcontract or outsource.
- If the assessment has already taken place: The assessment of the company or companies in the context of subcontracting or outsourcing.
How does your application work?
After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. The statutory decision period is pursuant to the Dutch General Administrative Law Act (AWB). If you have submitted the application via MijnILT, you can track its progress via MijnILT. Did you fill in the forms incompletely or incorrectly? Or have you not sent the requested attachment(s)? If so, the ILT will not process your application. You will then receive a message and still be able to submit the information. An audit of the applicant (and of any subcontractors) is part of the application’s assessment.
